Logo EuramAs part of the EURAM 2013 program, the Research Institute for Service Industry of National Research Council (IRAT-CNR), in cooperation with the RSM Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the University of Naples "Parthenope", and the University of Genoa, will organize the Subtrack "Port competitiveness and value creation: different perspectives of analysis ”. Papers can be submitted until 15 January 2013 (14:00 CET) via the online procedure of the EURAM 2013 Conference website.

  • The Institute for Service Industry Research (IRAT) is one of the organs of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), which operates within the new Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage. The Institute was founded in 1982, and it has kept its independence in spite of the several reorganizations occurred in the last ten years

  • The mission of the institute, originally defined as a broad study of the tertiary sector, has been progressively focusing, in line with the available human resources and the emerging directions, on the following themes: Logistics Services and Transport of Goods, Management of Tourism Services and Cultural Heritage, Business Support Services.

  • IRAT is part of a network of enterprises and national and international institutions, which allows it to play a large role in the spreading of an entrepreneurial culture and in the development of the region.
